Custom-made Pet Caricatures/Throwpillows
Here's how to commission a hand-painted custom-made pillow portrait of your pet.

Custom-made Pet Caricatures/Throwpillows
So here's how it's done:1) Decide which pet you want to commission a portrait of and gather up a few photos for me to work from. It's best if you can email them (4-7" tall at 72 dpi and saved as a JPG is the preferred way of doing it) but you can also snail-mail photos if absolutely necessary (nothing super-valuable, pretty please!) and they'll be returned to you when the pillow is shipped to you.
Please email any photos of your pets (multiple view of the animal is great, and any special characteristics it has, or special poses or attitudes you'd like to see captured in the design) to:

Please be sure to include a phone number, your current email address, your pet's name (so I know which photos go with which order) and any notes on what you'd like to see in the design. If you can give more than one option that you'd be happy with, this would be ideal so I can choose the one that'll work best with the pillow design.
2) Reserve your doll by making a 50% deposit in the amount of US $250.00 to begin the project, using PayPal (which you can use either credit card or checking account for, once you're signed up with them). Using PayPal incurs no additional fees for you.
$250 deposit (50% upfront, with $250 due on completion - $500 total)
3) Within 1-2 weeks of receiving your deposit and photos, I will email you a first sketch based on the photos you sent and any notes you've included. If you like it, you approve it n writing, and I will then begin the final doll by painting onto fabric and beginning the sewing process, keping you posted along the way as I get closer.
4) As soon as the doll is finished approximately 4-8 weeks later, I'll email you a snapshot of the finished piece.
5) Upon your approval, you submit the remaining $250 payment by PayPal and your doll is shipped to you the same day. Shipping charges are extra, and will be calculated based on your location, how you want it shipped (Fedex, regular mail insured, etc.) but I'll keep it in mind and try and save you money on shipping however I can.
Please note these important considerations:
Sorry to be strict here, but because of the sheer amount of time and work going into each design, I hope you'll agree that some basic guidelines are reasonable :)
* Because this is a custom-design, once your deposit is made and work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. However, I will of course make every attempt to make sure you're happy along the way, so keep in mind that good and continuous communication is key in getting you the custom-design that you want :)
* Once the doll is ready to be shipped I will notify you by email and expect your PayPal payment to arrive within 5 to 10 days. In the event that I don't hear back from you within a reasonable period of time, or you for some reason decline to pay the remaining $250 within that time and no other special arrangements are made, the deposit and claim to the doll is forfeited and it will be sold to someone else to recoup losses.
Have no fear, I'm very flexible as long as you keep me posted on what's going on with you -- I'm looking forward to hand-crafting you something you'll be very happy with! ;)
